Before reset your computer make sure you are clear about to take a decision to reset.

You can check the following tips before resetting your computer.


1. Take a backup of your data first.

2. Save your files - one of the first things should do before reformatting your hard drive, is saving your files.

3. Copy your drivers.

4. De-authorize or Deactivate your software.

5. Copy your browser settings.

6. Copy your operating system.

7. Save your product key.

8. Save all your serial keys.


Create a full backup of your computer or at least make a copy of your files before reset.


If nothing seems to increase performance you can reset your computer with a clean copy of Windows 10 to improve startup and shutdown, battery life, and overall performance. 

1. Open Settings. 

2. Click on Update & Security. 

3. Select Recovery Option below the Troubleshoot option. 

4. Under the "Reset this PC" section, click the Get started button. 



5. Click on keep my files button (You can also click the Remove everything button to erase everything and install a clean copy of Windows 10.)

6. Review the apps that will be removed, and click the Reset button.


         

After you complete the steps, it will be reinstalled removing previous configurations, settings, and apps to help you boost system performance. In the case you selected the option to remove everything, the last thing left to do after the reset is to restore your files from backup.
