To clean up a drive using the Storage section:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to the System.
  3. Select the Storage option below the power & sleep option.
  4. Under the Local Disk section, click on the Temporary files option (If you don't see the option, click the Show more categories link.) and
  5. Check the files that you want to delete then click on remove (️bin icon).

If apps, file copying, and other tasks take longer than usual, one of the reasons could be that the drive is running low on space. Usually, this becomes noticeable after filling up around 70 percent of the total storage capacity.
